FITAG President (2016-18)

 

Dear Fitagians,

 

Myself Mitesh Dave taken handover from Mr. Amit Shah as a President, FITAG in year 2016. With the FITAG TEAM we had achieved presence at National & International level. TEAM 2016-18 started President Conclave concept first time and also continued cricket tournaments for 2 years.

 

FITAG activity in year 2016-18

 

On 18-09-2016, newly elected president organized “President’s Conclave” at Ahmedabad. Member association FITAG got an opportunity to present a brief report of activities carried out by each association. FITAG Membership Certificates were distributed and president presented his road map for the year 2016-17.

 

On 7th & 8th January, 2017, FITAG organized Cricket Tournament” for members which was hosted by CHITA. Total 24 teams participated in this day-night cricket tournament. FITAG received a record 54 sponsors for this event.

 

FITAG registered under Chastity Commissioner, Ahmedabad on 27th Jan 2017

 

To educate its more than 4000 members, FITAG planned GST Seminars in five different locations (Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhuj, Bhavnagar & Surat) of Gujarat, thus covering all 33 member associations.

 

FITAG President Mr. Mitesh Dave was invited as a VIP Guest at the press conference of Computex 2017 Launch (on 10-02-2017) in India at New Delhi.

 

FITAG was selected as the “BEST IT ASSOCIATION” at 10th NCN Award Night which was held on MAY 11th, 2017 at New Delhi.

 

FITAG started over 20 Help Lines for various associations of Gujarat to help members for issues like warranty support, logistics, back-end etc.

 

A FITAG COMPUTEX 2017 Delegation  of 22 members of FITAG from all corners of Gujarat attended this year’s Computex at Taipei, Taiwan from 30th May to 3rd June. Main sponsor Gigabyte felicitated FITAG delegation. Delegation members had a unique opportunity to visit Gigabyte’s manufacturing facility at Taipei. TAITRA arranged accommodation / ground transportation for delegation members.

 

During Computex 2017, FITAG received a rare honor. On June 02, 2017, Taiwan’s BOFT (bureau of Foreign Trade) organized “2017 ITCF India Taiwan Cooperation Forum”. Members of BOFT, TAITRA and the august audience of ITCF honored and gave a rousing applause to FITAG President Mr. Mitesh Dave for his 15th visit of Computex, Taiwan and recognized him as a true ambassador of Computex. 2017 ITCF specially thanked all members of FITAG’s Computex 2017 delegation and appreciated efforts of FITAG in strengthening trade between India and Taiwan.

 

FITAG was an official Association Partner of CeBIT India 2016.

 

On 24th & 25th February, 2018, FITAG organized Cricket Tournament for members which was hosted by CHITA again. Total 24 teams participated in this day-night cricket tournament. FITAG received a record 60 sponsors for this event.

 

A FITAG COMPUTEX 2018 Delegation of 20 members of FITAG from all corners of Gujarat attended this year’s Computex at Taipei, Taiwan from 5th June to 9th June.

 

During Computex 2018, FITAG received a rare honor. On June 82, 2018, Taiwan’s BOFT (bureau of Foreign Trade) organized “2018 ITCF India Taiwan Cooperation Forum”. FITAG President Mr. Mitesh Dave represents the Government of Gujarat policy on establishing the manufacturing units at Gujarat state. Mr. Mitesh presented the Government policy on what benefits Gujarat offered to Taiwanese company on establishing the manufacturing plant at Gujarat.
